It's free, it can filter feeds with negative keywords, it can also create one feed from a few different sources.

Is it considered "unique" content if the feeds are taken from a few different places?

I'm still playing with it. Has anybody tried it?

In the same style, you also have pipes.yahoo.com and openkapow.com. Not sure about duplicate content though. You can always markovying it before republish it if readability is not an issue.

I LOVE open source software, I rarely, if ever, use anything else. Open source is not only great because its free, but it can also be modified, expanded..etc.. but the best part about open source is that it usually has much better support. Instead of having your questions/problems go to some half ass call center - you have an entire network of people actually using the software and can help you fix what you need in a short amount of time.
