Free reverse phone search?

Is there any free reverse(cell) phone search out there or do I have to pay? I just need a name and address

If you want the story, here it is.
I paid this guy $500, he got robbed and lost my money today and he never delivered what I paid for. He says that he is not getting the money back to me. I just have his cell phone number and his "street name" although I could ask around and get his real one. Some "debt collectors" need to pay him a visit so maybe he can rethink his decision not to pay. I just need some more info, like a real name and address. Online I wouldn't freak out so much over $500, but this is irl and I only have so much money that my parents don't know about(I am 16). Possibly this mofo lied about being robbed, I wouldn't be surprised.

So, can someone help me out, or do I just have to pay up for the search? thanks...

Did you buy drugs? I a massumin it was weed. Anyway, you will learn you do not live by revenge, you live by learning lessons.

Next time you will be more responsible with your money, and that is all you should take out of it. You don't want to start something that could get ugly for yourself and your family.

If you send debt collectors, I guarantee you things will turn out bad for you.

Maybe, I shouldn't have included the story because I want to keep on the topic of reverse phone search... Anyway, the person I am tryin to get the money from is just a kid, I don't think this could get ugly, especially sense none of us live in "bad" neighborhoods... I learned my lesson already, the only reason I was did this was as a favor for a friend. I don't have the time to mess around selling drugs.

I will tell you this much, I was robbed at gunpoint while making a buy when i was into pot, im not anymore. the guy pulled a gun on me and my buddy and wanted the cash, i gave em half my cash in my pockets and my friend said "shoot me dude" (he was suicidal at the time but thats another story - kuz i wasnt). it was about that time when i slowed down the pot smoking (Since it wasn't doing anything for me anyway) and kinda started to move on to bigger and better things.

Its not a good idea to go back to try and get your money from him, id cut your losses. 500 bucks seems like a lot now, but in a couple years its gonna mean shit and you are going ot have a lesson learned.

Oh and I knew who the guy was. I didnt call the cops and i didnt go after him (everyones got guns, not just robbers-- i grew up a hunter) but i found out a few months later he was in prison for robbery. I figured he needed the cash more than me. Apparently he needed to be locked up more than me kuz he kept doin that kind of crap and got himself locked up for a few years, which is not a route i recommend for anyone.

but I know damn well had I gone after him, I wouldve been armed with intent and it wouldve been bad for everyone... but i had more to lose than he did.

abika.com used to offer this search but since pretexting has been cracked down on they might not. I was able to get cell phone records and more from them in the past. Its not cheap.

Just do a search for reverse phone number in google or yahoo. You can use whitepages.com for sure, but there is many others. You will only run into an issue if the number is unlisted.

I just noticed that you said a cell number reverse. This may not work out. It may tell you an area an provider but that will not do you much good. You need to start getting more info on the kid. Real name, last name, school he goes to, etc. Maybe go hang out at the local mall or best buy to see if he walks in to buy that new 360 he has been waiting for. By the way never loan money to someone you do not know where they live or someone close to them.

I cannot help you looking up for the number, but I think this is a lesson you'll keep for years to come. You're still young, and you'll get over it.

Its ok, i got robbed for $300 before as well, but unlike u I am not 16 and I am not rich like you, Lol I am actually in debt for $20,000 to the student loans..
Anyways just learn that you cant trust any1 again especially some1 u dont know & since u said that person who stole ur money is just a kid, then I think u should get in touch with his mommy and tell her about what happened, She most likely will return the money back to u unless the kid comes from a family of thieves...Good Luck

'...I just found this...(see below). You might have already looked at it. Even if you have to pay the average of $30, it would be worth it if you got some or all of your money back.

With this you kind find out the following information:

• Phone owners name and address
• Phone location
• Household members
• Phone company and carriers
• Line type - landline or cell phone (Mobile)...and more.

Otherwise, and I can't believe I'm recommending this, you could set up a Nigerian scam-type sting but you'd have to do it through a friend as the perpetrator seems smart.

All of this depends on many factors, most importantly being if anyone is likely to come after you if you're successful, even though it was your money to begin with.

Sometimes you have to 'wipe your mouth' as is said in England, meaning just forget about it.

A hard lesson to learn and I for one do not think $500 is not a lot of money and in this case, it is the awful feeling of knowing you've been taken as for sure, he's not telling you the truth or at least the full story'.

There is a website called Public Records Bank at http://www.publicrecordsbank.com taht has a search field where you can enter a phone number and get some great information.

i dont like to state the obvious here but if hes scammed you your cash im sure hes alreadyu thought of his number being traced- he most liely set upmthe phone number under a false address
if hes not so smart maybe he didnt but if he was gonna do that then hed be silly to give his real details out

I ended up paying $15 for a search, but the site didn't give me the address because it was registered to (I am guessing) his dad's business. I paid for an address which wasn't delivered so I got a refund.

Anyway, that doesn't matter anymore because I think I don't need it anymore. I asked my friend (who goes to the same school and knows him) for some info on the guy. So my friend told the kid that I was serious about collecting my money and he called me. He sounded scared and said he would get me my money back. He knows that I am not messing around now. I have to say it was kind of an awkward conversation though...
