are you sure about the domain not losing its age? expiring domains like these aren't just changing owners, they're being registered as a brand new domain, so the whois record would show the registration date as 4-Jan-2012 rather than the original registration date.

as for page rank, when i've registered expired domains in the past, the page rank usually drops to 0 or N/A in the next PR update, but regains it's PR in the update after that.

I think many of these domains PR are fake. I checked the backlink count of several of the high PR ones and they had 66 or less backlinks. Overall the list is $hit imho. Thanks for the share OP but, I think you got a bad batch.

Not all are useless some might be good ones .
 
Would the websites like Snapname be buying all these PR sites up right when they become available? Heard you pretty much have no chance. You can't compete with them, since that's their business, mass auto bots, etc.
 
I wonder how many of those free now! Very good PR domains indeed.

most expiring domains with pr are snapped up by people and then sold on almost immediately. if you check this list, i'm sure quite a few will be for sale on dp at the moment. quite a few times i've wanted to get a domain but someone gets there first, and a day later it's for sale on dp.
 
Hmm, I was able to buy a few of these that expired this morning. Obviously, nothing good, above PR 3.
But I really don't know if they will able to keep the PR, any advice?
And since I am registering these as new, so the age is reset then? Would they not be worth much or anything because of that?
