This is about authority not about PR. I think it's a good idea as long you can keep the account/s not banned.

Really? How much safe is it? I mean the probability of getting ban? However this must be an ethical way but creating too many profile may get your site at risk.

Target questions that are directly related to your niche, dont spam randomly. Build a quality answer, remember that will help build authority for the said page and that page shall than pass authority to yours.

Genuinely contribute quality, once you have a few good answer under your belt, no reason why they'd ban you.

Well this is new tactic to me and I will now make an account in wiki answer and then after answering some of the question I would like to add links; but one problem how many accounts can be created and wouldn't be there any problem with the ip? bcz tomany accounts from a particular ip.
