Hi

I tried a French article on both sites, but the results were different,
1text :
Check for plagiarism
Unique: 41.72%

smallseotools:
Check for plagiarism
Unique: 90.00%

what do you think? What result will I rely on?

If you can find an exact copy of the article, using any plagiarism checker tool - then obviously do not use it.

1text :
Check for plagiarism
Unique: 41.72%

here, can u find the article which have the similar texts? is it just some words or some lines? if it is just some words then it is fine, if it is a paragraph of the article/some lines - then edit that part.

40% of uniqueness is too low. It's probably duplicate

You can't judge that simple,
try to check some article from some website and check if both tools give 0% uniqueness,
It can be also due to the algorithm differences

I do not rely on 1text. com, most of my written articles get a 40% or less unique check. It is impossible to get a 100% uniqueness score on that website because instead of checking like a sentence it checks like a word, or a phrase which is ridiculous. No article has the authority over a word or phrase. If you check the results on 1text. com you will see that what they highlighted as plagiarism is foolishness. On the other hand smallseotool is not 100% accurate, copyscape is a more accurate checker.

not really. for me it is working pretty well.

1text seems to not work as intended on occasions, check which articles it seems to find similar to yours and open the links to check for yourself, you should be able to tell if it's a duplicate article. Sometimes just changing a few words can get you from 50% to 100% when using 1text, its tricky sometimes but a reliable plagiarism checker.

Yes just some words

Some of these sites will take commonly used text in articles has plagiarism, I would prefer using grammarly plagiarism checker, though it doesn't display percentage, just three things
Plagiarism not detected - mean your article is definitely unique
Plagiarism detected - means it's contains some plagiarism and your might be a little safe to use it
Significant plagiarism detected - means your article contains alot of plagiarism

Every plagiarism tool works different. So the best thing you can do is compare the results and if in one of the results is higher than 15% copy, you should change some words.

It's mean your articles are poorly re-written.

All my money articles and articles linking to me have 100% uniqueness score on 1text.com, that's over 1k articles.

OP, both tools are trying to tell you the same thing... your article is copied or poorly re-written.

Hand written... no re-written BS
I seldom scan my content just to see if somebody copied it.

you can also try quetext.com
I'm always doing double check like, first check on quetext, Grammarly, also 1text.com
Me too... nowadays, I use 1text and something else like copyscape, always run 2 checks if I am not sure about the content.

1text is good for checking plagiarism when you outsource content. But, it's an overkill if you want to check your own articles. Copyscape & Smallseotools are enough for Google. I've ranked parasites with <25% unique on 1text in the past. Google algorithm had a few flaws, and you don't need to give them the best things to rank.
