Free Ping Tool - Ping over 90 sites one submission!

I just hit refresh when I get to the page, it gives me a new captcha and then I dont have to enter everything twice...

It's like it's setting session or something after you hit submit, causing the original captcha to say it was wrong (therefore blanking your form and starting over).

@symbiotic Do you have an xml-rpc submission url?
 
It allows you to ping over 90 sites with a single submission. I am not sure why you would mash up part of the description of pingler.com and then another part from Utility Ping (which doesn't even do the same thing) and post it here.

Utility Ping is not a pingback service like pingler.com. They are two completely different meaning of the term 'Ping.'

What were you attempting to get across in this post?
 
ok, this might sound dumb...BUT when i choose a catagory (health) it does not rec. the captcha...when i leave it as "other" it works !! 5 for 5 now !!1 anyone else??

I can't seem to reproduce what you are saying. I wish I could see some of the issues that some are having as it works for me 100% of the time and on three different machines with 3 different browsers.

Just something I thought I would mention as I was surprised at the results myself.

We built a site a few days ago: http://cancerinfonow.com

Once we built it the only thing we did is ping the site using pingler.com and here are the results: http://stats.netstatstracker.com/view_stats.php?user=cancerin&domain=cancerinfonow.com&server=symbioticnetworks.com

I have my own script do to my pinging (fetching the pinglist daily from crappytools) but since I have used yours some as well, I noticed your url pinglist and therefore I wanted to ask you if you have anything to say about all the http://blogsearch.google.* entries - (the crappytools list also have them all, but I filter out some of them to save me some execution time).

I.e, in your (or anyone here is welcome to speak out) opinion, is it meaningful to ping *all* of these blogsearch.google.*? Or could it even be the opposite - a risk?

I mean a quick look makes me think they might only have one single "to be updated" list

i had captcha issues too 2 times then 3rd time worked fine- im using firefox latest also

Grrr tried 5 times!
 
I think we have come up with a fix for the captcha issue.

We have created another site that checks page rank, alexa rank, pages indexed, etc with a similar captcha that shouldn't have the same issues.

Check out http://FindMyPageRank.com and let me know if you still have a captcha issue. If not we are gonna use that captcha in our pingler site.

first of all,
WELL DONE
on both sites, they are GREAT!
second, i had a captcha problem with the ping site, but i simply re-hit the submit button (after i filled in my site info and it worked smoothly :) )

and third, the page rank site's captcha is working perfecty from the start.

Glad you like 'em. We're still not exactly sure what the hell the issue with the pingler.com captcha issue as we are using the same exact code for the findmypagerank.com site and there have been no complaints with it not working the first time. Plus the weird thing is it doesn't happen to everyone and it doesn't happen all the time (at least for most people)
