Great share, but how long this account would be active?
 
thanks for the share.
i have been able to successfully create the office account but when i try to download office365 software , i get the message "contact your admin to download office desktop" plz guide how to resolve this issue..

I don't know. Also, I won't upload my personal files to that Onedrive account.

You should download it in a non-official site, I guess. And then, use your account to log in.

Or maybe, this only works for online office.

Onedrive is taking a lot of time to setup files , I think so onedrive is'nt working
 
Would suggest all of you not to believe on this method. I made an account with the same method and stored my files. The account got blocked after 15-20 days. This trick is not new, I used it more than a month back. So, save yourself some time and don't go for it. I know how bad it is to lose files.
 
These kind of accounts doesn't survive much. Nice share!

There was a similar trick of creating and .EDU mail months ago for Office and 5TB space. It was working well for 3 months and then it stopped working. Good thing though - I only stored an encrypted backup of my HD (which of course I had a copy elsewhere).

Also, I created 2 accounts (for testing). Stopped working for about 2 months - and it was empty.

So your result may vary. But the point is, use and store files which you are willing to lose knowing it could get locked out the very next day. As for Microsoft Office - I started using Google docs which is better.

This is best suited for uploading videos, movies, etc.
