What program do you use for logos?

I've always wondered about using a specialised logo generator rather then using Illustrator or Photoshop.

Your thoughts?

I actually use both Illustrator and Photoshop for designing my logos. They really offer everything you could possibly need. However, if you wanted to get into 3D designs, I think Maya or Z-Brush would be good. In my personal opinion, I think logos should be simple and memorable, so I avoid complex 3D designs.
