I have tried it.. not knowing if results are accurate or how it ranks the 'difficulty' means I cant accurately review it. It SEEMS to work just fine.

It's nice for a free tool and OP seems relatively knowledgeable on this subject, good work.
 
I see a big difference when putting quotes around the keyword phrase. Of course, when doing that it appears that the phrase is much easier to rank for...
