As most of you know, one of the most important things nowadays is being anonymous on the internet and this can be a very challenging task.

One way to acomplish this is by using a virtual private network (VPN) to access the web. This doesn't mean you're going to be 100% anonymous although it's a step in the right direction.

"A VPN extends a private network across a public network, such as the Internet. It enables a computer or Wi-Fi-enabled device to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if it were directly connected to the private network, while benefiting from the functionality, security and management policies of the private network."

This sounds great but it's hard to find free, trustworthy VPN services.

Today, I'm going to share with you 2 free services you can use:

1. CyberGhost (cyberghostvpn.com)
CG has a free "option" you can use although they entice you to get the paid "option" which you can even purchase with bitcoins to stay more anonymous.

2. FrootVPN (frootvpn.com)
FV is a relatively new VPN provider who has the endorsement of the TPB (thepiratebay) team which are known defenders of privacy. This service is totally free for now although it's rumored that it will become a paid option in the future.

These are 2 free alternatives to being somewhat anonymous on the internet. If anyone has any more suggestions please feel free to share in the comments!

Dont forget to change the Time Zone after you connect via the VPN.
I mean it looks weird when USA residents create PayPal accounts using Persian calendar. :)
