for these free hosts to make much money for the amount of bandwidth
consumed.

Get atleast a shared hosting account, its dirt cheap and you aren't limited
like you are with free hosts.

Stay away from free and 5$ unlimited hosting.
A fair limit for 5$ is 60-80 GB bandwidth. If you host 10 websites there, the price / website is 0.5$, which is almost free.
