I certainly cant agree with any of the "free hosting practices". If anything, go with godaddy they offer or were offering a dollar a month free hosting. But I do warn you, I see quite alot of negative reviews on their facebook. So, tread lightly my friend.

Yup you can get free hosting for sure, but the thing is you need to spare with the service and quality of the VPS as definitely it gonna be the worst for a free hosting and it doesn't matter from where you are getting the free hosting.

Im just not a fan of free hosting at all. Nothing is "free" anymore and it is paid for in some way or another.

I can host you, I have a vps running ispconfig and all required services you would expect from a paid host (only got 2 domains hosted there at the minute lol). Send me a pm if interested.

Be very diligent in the "FREE" hosting company search, make sure that you read all the fine print, I know a couple that do not announce it, but plainly state in their terms, that all emails yours and your customers will be used by them to send offers. So unless you want to be known as a spam site, be careful!
