Free Hosting for Movie Site?

About a hour ago there was a post that was a method filled with aff links and other questionable content that was immediately taken down. But they did list something I've never thought of. Using a free host *blogger, wix etc* and linking out or embedding to sites already hosting the movies/shows. So I have to ask, would that work? And maybe not even free hosting. I know technically that is Contributory copyright infringement. But I can only imagine, worst case scenario, them just asking to take down and not go after you in court. Or if you want to play it safe. Couldn't you just use very cheap offshore hosting and do this? Are any of you using this? I'm very curious.

Any comments on this?

You can use web 2.0s but if they get one complaint they will delete your blog or maybe ban your account. Dont worry they are not going to file court case etc.

sure you could use 0.0099c offshore hosting and stay safe ...

I did this for 2-3 years with weebly/bravesites/wix/etc. It works well to just embed it's a lot of work but it does the job.

Nope, nothing bad ever happened but now I get DMCA complaints sometimes
