Got a similar e-mail as above regarding account. I went ahead and called them. Just provide them with the same sign up details used when creating the account. Everything is ok with my account.
They will ask about the coupon code. Give them the one you used and tell the rep you got it from a friend. You will be okay

Just curious ... Did you get THIS email before OR after the regular setup email? The code processed for me and my HG billing looks ok ($0 balance due) but I can't login to cpanel.
They may be catching up for those that actually were able to use the code. So maybe I should try their helpdesk now. Worth a try anyway.

Well ... there STILL may be hope for those that WERE able to order thru the code given.
Put a ticket in at HG about not being able to login to cpanel and got this reply:

I registered last night and although i got confirmation etc, my password was not letting me access the cpanel. Just went on live talk with them and the conversation went like this...

So everything looks good. I dont see how they could cancel the accounts. At the end of the day, its their own fault. We simply took advantage of their error. Who knows, at the end of the day it might even make them money when it somes to renewals etc.

OK ... I'm finally good with the cpanel login. I went to live chat and they got it straightened out.
Sooo ... It appears that IF you were one of the lucky ones to actually get processed via the coupon code then just talk to HG live support chat & they should get it cleared up.
