You can post on forums, mostly high DA sites are hard to find.
There are some lists available on the goog le but those are outdated and you have to wait a really long time for approva most of the cases they never approves them.

If everyone can get a link for free it means there's no value.

You're collecting rocks instead of digging for minerals.

Even worse, Google detects those patterns sooner or later.

At that point just start with a new domain name and don't repeat your mistakes collecting rocks.

8 months old at the time of my post, old yes, but not very old. And many of the sites on that list are still usable, so I'd say it's a good share overall...

Last but not least, it's a freebie, so you can't complain :)
 
A quick way to find 'free' guest posts is to obtain a list including urls for your niche category (like steptoe's, or others out there), then sort them through a bulk DA checker (several are also out there). Go with the sites that are DA ranked at, say, 50 or higher. Also check the domains directly to see what their monthly traffic is (preferably 50,000 or higher).

Your next hurdle is to examine their submission guidelines (if posted). Get chummy with the webmasters or editors via providing useful feedback to their already published content, or by discussing the niche with them on social media. You could also do cold outreach via emails, but that is much less productive.

Either in the form of link on your website or a Nice piece of manual handwritten content. We outreach 100s of webmaster regularly but very very rarely get a response as "Free" to Publish..
