"Free" Google Cloud Trial charged me money

Even though I signed up for a $300 free Google Cloud Trial, I still received a bill at the beginning of the month.

Frankly, I think that sucks. And it's not about the money. Especially that such a large corporation like Google is so extremely confusing at several steps.

Now I contacted support, and they estimated that they need 5 days (!) to look at the case. All my projects went offline.

Hmmm not sure. Usually you have to activate the real billing before you get charged. When you sign up for trial you don’t get charged real money unless activate billing and go over the trial.

I was in the same situation as you, they finally gave me my money back after many attempts to complain. the amount is not big but I am quite annoyed, their platform is quite difficult to use, the support is all from AI.
