I found that Deepswap has a totally free face swap for images. Does face swap images require very little computing power?

You should use an open source model for face swapping. Some models include roop and facefusion. Then, you need a UX. Some sites that do it well are https://magichour.ai and https://reface.ai. The hard part is setting up the compute, since these models require GPUs.

If you have a tech background, i guess the cost effective way is to setup your own, based on comfyui for example
You can use your own GPU , just use cloudflare tunel to make it public
