Free .EDU Noreciprocal **************** Directory

I don't think that qualifies as a .edu...could someone clarify this?

Also, I've never heard of a link directory forcing people to build links for them before. It all seems real fishy to me.

EDIT: right, okay it seems to be a legitimate Polish .edu site. I had just never seen a .pl domain before.

the directory asks u to make linsk AFTER u get email with approval, not before

I imagine there are tons of edu.countrycode domains out there since the normal EDU registry tends to only accept US accredited organizations.
 
1) an edu domain has no weight more than a .com or a .net anymore. Google changed their pr policy.

2) This is a bait site to get your niches. You want proof?

Did you notice "I will check" ? and pharmacy, gambling allowed on an edu site? Now, come on!

Thanks for the share OP, but i would suggest anyone to stay away from that website. Too many red flags.
 
if u think .com or .net has same power as .edu then dont use it

if u never heard of manual verified directories then dont use it

if u never heard of gambling and pharma allowed directories dont use it.


but if i share here something it means it works. people know me here and know credibility of my shares. this .edu dir is 100% working.

thanks mate - of course . edu 's help --- and . gov -- its liek ignoring you live next door to the goverment or head teacher --- matt cutts even said so himself - G just dont disclose it publiclly - probably to put nobs off teh scent --

I don't think it's worth all the hassle to be honest...check out "THE RULES" below!!

@ Stuff YOU HAVE TO DO after beeing added to .edu Directory
- You need to get AT LEAST 6 links to this website from 6 different websites
- 2 of the links has to go to main page and 4 to the category page where you submitted website
- links can be anchor/no anchor/follow/nofollow
- links can be from forums, comments, articles, blogs or any other places
- from the time link is added [usualy not more than 12h] You have 3 days for the linking mission
- after You add the links please email them to directory[at]XXXXXX with your sitename as a title of message

Links stay here for life-time so i think its worth to give them some power.

There are plenty of edu sites out there that haven't been spammed to death and are far easier to get an instant link from without having do the backlink work for the edu site as well!!

Think I shall be giving this one a miss!!

sure man, just .edu dir is a good find so i shared it here :)
just this is lifetime link that wont disappear and with spam [that i do alot!] u never know when u loose the link or may be risky to put money site there.

anyways im not making anybody submit i just say its a good opportunity.
