Just wondering if anyone has come across a company calling itself "one.com" apparently they do website hosting. However, we have received 2 letters from them claiming that we paid for a website and they are now asking us to renew our subscription. They have somehow got our address correct but the email they say we used to open the account is not ours and we have never created any website under the name they have mentioned in their correspondence. Last night another letter came, this time from a debt collector acting on behalf of "one.com", threatening us with legal action for failure to pay their client. Any advice from other people who have come across this scam? Thanks

Chill out, they are giving domains and hosting services in UK,India for free.

Also i forgot to mention that u need a mobile phone number, because they send you a sms with code, which is needed to enter when processing on getting the domain.

Don't do it,i had friends who did things like this,and got sued big time.Just pay 10$ for a domain god damit.
