Well it's just a guess but I would assume that after a couple of months of no (at least public) response that this is no longer being handed out?
To answer the question that kept getting asked on various pages and apparently not being seen is that he is a programmer that has coded his
own program and using it to submit to the open directories. I'm sorry to be late to this list release as it would have been interesting to view. Even
though I may not partake in the list thank you very much for sharing the list in the past!
at: txhepoker, Thank you for that! In case it is true it is a lot of time saved by not submitting to those that are possibly now being dropped by Google.
edit: I should have said that there did not appear to be any responses or updated here on page 4 other than one person that had thanked the author but
has since been banned so I wasn't sure how relevant that was

still submissions on directory sites are worth? or it any way help to rank on google after panda and penguin?

Hey everyone,
Noticed you guys needed some help with a directory list... Well I found a huge list on my drive over 11MB - am not sure if some of them are valid, and there are some sites that aren't directories, but I thought that it might help some of you guys out anyway.
My directory is the first on the list - if you want a free featured listing, submit your site with the option that has "LIMITED TIME ONLY!" written with it, and then PM me with your info. If the info matches up, I'll approve a featured listing for you.
The List:
No VirusTotal needed - just a huge text file. I recommend using Notepad++ if you want to open it up.
Hope this helps.
EDIT: I've just downloaded Directory Submitter 4.0 and looks like they have a good checker utility, so if you want to hold off while I verify my big list (will take some time obviously), I'll appreciate your patience.
