General question... what is the best way to test how "fresh" a site is anyway? Obviously the Senuke default ones are hammered more than a $100 prostitute in Detroit, but how do you know which ones in "older" lists are still goood?

But there are only 6-7 web2s supporting XMLRPC :(

evood.com, weblogplaza.com, iblog.at, spi-blog.com, uwcblog.com, honmag.com, bcz.com, spyuser.com, blogpico.com, areavoices.com, blinkweb.com, blog.com, fc2.com, livejournal.com, journalspace.com, wordpress.com, blogger.com, that's 17. Also any wordpress installations you have will accept xmlrpc too.

User registration is currently not allowed.
@ visualsociety.com

Doh, I'll remove it from the next list. I actually tested out most the other new ones though.

http://blogge.rs also appears to have reg disabled.
Nevermind the button is disabled... but the top button works!

Thanks for the great list, I'm going to have to start making use of some of these...

As for adding to your list, how about hubgarage? If you make a "garage" then you can make blog posts. All blog posts can be posted to the main page too, though they obviously don't stay there that long.

It is automotive themed (obviously), but for anything remotely automotive or general enough keywords you should be able to work links in?

Looks like it's PR4.

Woow this list is big.

phpbuilt: Also many thanks for the research work you did on this list i really appreciate that.

Hi, Everybody..

According to you, how much would you pay or get payed to create accounts on those
web 2.0 sites ?

It is automotive themed (obviously), but for anything remotely automotive or general enough keywords you should be able to work links in?

Problem there is it's also a half social site, everyone can easily see everyone else's posts (they're posted to homepage) and I tried looking for anything that wasn't automotive related but couldn't find any. I did find some members on a war path against spam. My intuition tells me trying to post anything there unless your website is about rebuilding cars would be a waste of time.

Hey phpbuilt, nice to see that you're still building this list... I remember trying to help on this on the early part of the thread. I've been really so busy. :)

I just saw this one, http://blogdiario.com. It has a PR5 and looks like you can create a blog in here. and this one too. http://page.tl

I'm trying to stay away from the foreign language ones at the moment (blogdiario.com).

However, the page.tl looks awesome. PR7 and 1.55 million pages indexed. Lots of blogs with heavily SEO'ed terms and looks like they don't care. Links are d0follow, and its so easy to sign up you don't even need to confirm your email address.

I'll be adding page.tl to the list, +7 rep :D

Without doubt the most useful post I have read on BHW, real help for all, no cost, constant feedback 5 Stars. + Rep Given for an amazing helpful service.

Quick question - maybe I'm being hopelessly dumb but I can't seem to figure out how to bypass the "web builder" stuff on blinkweb and post to it either by mail or xml-rpc. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
