xanga.com you need to edit title html code otherwise NEVER will get indexed

I don't see duplicate titles but investigating several of my sites I see

Code:
<meta name="ROBOTS" content="NOINDEX,NOFOLLOW" />
on the root and each page.

It appears that this site is useless for backlinking unless someone knows how to get the noindex / nofollow tag removed.

xanga has 19.4 million pages indexed in google. I went to the first subdomain I saw and went "view source" and searched for noindex, didn't see it. You're talking about xanga.com or another site?

he's absolutely correct about xanga:

<meta name="ROBOTS" content="NOINDEX,NOFOLLOW" />

Might I suggest adding to the list:
http://www.mynewblog.com/
http://wikyblog.com/ (NOT a subdomain... which is good)
http://www.tblog.com/
http://www.journalfen.net/
http://freeflux.net
http://freeblogspot.org/
If they have not already been added

Excellent topic. Been looking for this for a while.

Also, i remember i once downloaded a free spinner from here, but it seems to be missing?

reserved for latest list ... updating shortly

When I checked a lot of the first page serps for site:xanga.com, most of them were gone and redirecting to the homepage... I did find a few to check though and they didn't have the robots tag on them so not sure what's up.

tblog.com: no clue how to register here. I sign up and it just jerks me back to the homepage, log in jerks back to homepage, doesn't send an email, etc.
freeblogspot.org: registration has been disabled
journalfen.net: registration has been disabled
wikyblog: interesting, every page seems 100% editable. you could go in there, delete all your competitor's urls and add in your own. so on one hand you can delete everyone's work if you want to and put up your own ... on the other hand, registration has been disabled so you can't create new accounts.
mynewblog.com: not even indexed in google. no PR either.

freeflux is on the list but I'm considering taking it off for being too hard to sign up (they ban signups depending on whether your IP has ever been reported for anything anywhere as spam).

Regarding xanga, I may be blind

http://kadence0390.xanga.com/754510040/seo-services/

I'm seeing nofollow. I'm not seeing noindex. In fact, I found the page by typing site:xanga.com in google so obviously it is indexed.

all 4 blog.com deleted my pages :(

god, I just started another link push for a client and wanted to diversy the web 2.0 services and started a blog.com blog in tier 1 if it gets deleted will be a pain in the ass to fix all links in tier 2 pointing to another tier 1 page lets see how is goes the things yeah looks like its not quite good this service from blog.com as the following

Blog.com reserves the right to suspend and delete blogs based on activity criteria. Suspension and deletion criteria are applied individually per blog hosted on Blog.com. A blog will be considered active if it fullfils at least one of the following conditions:
(i) It subscribes any premium service.
(ii) It contains more than ten posts, and the most recent post is less than eighteen months old.
(iii) It contains more than one post, and the most recent post is less than six months old.
(iv) Its most recent post is less than two weeks old.
Blogs that can't be considered active will be marked as inactive. Blog.com may at any time start a deletion process for inactive blogs. The deletion process occurs as follows:
(i) The blog is suspended for inactivity
(ii) An email is sent to the registered owner email address, informing of the suspension
(iii) The blog is deleted thirty days after the suspension date, if it still can't be considered active.

I really don think that nofollow link its useless try to think abroad, will it be nofollow ? yes it will but its a conextual backlink and with low OBL if we all knew how exactly big G algoritm works we wouldnt be saying something is useless if its no follow just make a scrapebox blast to thoose sites and wait to see if you see a change some people says that yahoo does follow the links to discover new pages but they dont know to say what the weight of a nofollow link in ranking.
maybe I went a little harsh with the comment sorry about that but your xanga website will get index but will take lots of months and I'm talking to your index page not the inner pages thats why I said "never" because we all here in BHW are not interested in waiting for too much time to see results doing BH techniques

I am talking about xanga.com

I agree there are a huge number of pages indexed when you review a site: enquiry.

When you look at what these pages are you see: -
1. a large number which are redirects to xanga's home page where the blog owner has locked the content to prevent public viewing
2. many old blogs which were created prior to xanga's latest noindex / nofollow policy
3 some newer blogs for which I have no idea how they removed the constraint

I do know that the 15 I created over the last 2 months are all noindex / nofollow

The robots instruction may remove itself after x posts or a premium payment or the blog achieving a certain age .... etc or this may be their default approach from now on.

If any members know how to do this please shout up as it appears to me that new blogs created on xanga are going to be noindex / nofollow by default and hence of little value to us.

edited one of my earlier posts so the list is closer to the top of the thread of page 9.

UPDATES:

Added nofollow to xanga.com. if you are planning on using xanga, find comments in this thread about editing your template so your pages are indexed properly.

any additions or comments please post. btw earlier it was recommended to add 20six.de ... way too big a pain in the butt unless you know German for a PR3 site so I didn't add it.

Any way you can label which sites use subdomains and the ones that don't, I personally believe sites that let you build blogs on there main domain instead of a subdomain are more valuable and you benefit more from the PR of the homepage.

non-US, but pr2-pr6, from Hungary

Code:
[B]
blog.hu
[/B][B]ingyenblog.hu
blogolj.net
[/B][B]problog.hu[/B]

Great list. If you Look for "crear blog gratis" you Will find nice spanish do follow blog sites to create
