Ok so I am sick of seeing all the PVA threads trying to charge $4 a PVA for CL. You can get them for free by doing this:


1. Get Gizmo5 at gizmo5 dot com

2. go to IPKall - Ipkall dot com

3. your SIP proxy for gizmo5 is proxy01 . sipphone . com

Now what you do is get free numbers from ipkall. and fwd your calls to your gizmo5 account.

Problem Solved.

I tried this man, my phone wouldnt allow it, G1, says not supported, so couldnt download the gizmo thing, sucks anyways
 
keendog, i applaud your good intentions. But sometimes it not a good idea to share stuff like this on a public forum that's patrolled by CL employees. Its a pretty safe bet that this method will be dead within 2 weeks.

I tried this a few months ago, didn't work. When I called the virtual number it was fine, but when I tried when I tried to verify it using CL, I didn't work and CL gave a message saying the number was invalid.
 
As previously stated in this thread:

1. Even if this method was valid, this would literally be one of the worst ways going about sharing it... A method presented in this fashion certainly wouldn't be a long lasting one.

2. Being that my flux capacitor is currently broken I am unable to go back to 1969 when this method actually worked. It's not working and hasn't been for a bit.

Honorable intentions I suppose... but think a bit more before you post my man.

yes, i understand it well. this method is not working and will not even work. this was used to work long back but cl has come a long way ahead in blocking such ways...
 
The Gizmo5 site states it has been bought by Google and is not accepting new registrations.

Any way to have someone set up my accounts for me?
 
I think Gizmo5 is basically Google Voice now. You may want to look into multiple google voice accounts. GV doesn't work for CL but the service itself is great especially for free.
 
yeah - gizmo5 is Google Voice - does Google just buy everything, or what? :cool:
 
Does anyone know how to contact TommySC? I'd like to purchase some PVAs and everything I've read indicates that he's the guy to talk to. Thanks for your help! I can't email TommySC directly on this site without first posting 15 times in the forum. I don't want to just post garbage to get my post count up, so I'm hoping one of you who has his email address with send it to me. Thanks!
