Hey,
I've ok'd this with a mod(taco).
About Me:
I'm from the UK. I've been in online marketing for a couple of years and business for longer. I'm also a good programmer and sys admin.
I currently do some freelance writing for a few companies and I'm building up my own online marketing business.
I'd like to vastly improve my copywriting/LP op abilities. This will help me with my own online marketing projects and allow me to take on some higher paying copywriting work for various companies.
I'm already well above average when it comes to copywriting, split testing and landing page optimization. My goal is to get as much practice as possible to get as good as I can get.
I'll never be looking to sell my copywriting services on bhw. It's not my market. I make more as a regular writer than even the most expensive copywriters here are charging. I am however looking to form some mutually beneficial arrangements.
About You:
You're probably not making a huge amount of money online. If you were, you would either be a great copywriter or be hiring great copywriters. You're not a newbie either. You're somewhere in the middle of your online marketing career. You make about $250-$5000 per month, but you feel you could be making a lot more from your traffic.
You know SEO quite well and are able to get traffic in, but you've not reached the level where you're dabbling in copywriting and conversion rate optimization.
Maybe you're an email marketer and you're doing a little volume, but not getting the results you'd like.
What I can help with:
Copywriting for landing pages or email.
Split testing.
Analytics.
Heatmaps and other goodies.
User behavior analysis.
General testing and tracking.
Essentially everything related to increasing conversions.
I don't need any shares of the profit. I'm only interested in data and experience.
I do my own online marketing, but it doesn't provide me the volume of data I'd like to accelerate my abilities.
Copywriting/lp op is all about practice practice practice. 100's and eventually 1000's of sites/sales pages/emails. The good old 5000 hour rule. It applies here just as it does everywhere else.
With your help I can get more practice in and with my help you'll make more money and learn a lot in the process.(All online marketers should be copywriting/lp op experts if they want to make serious money)
I would rather not work with anyone using paid traffic at this stage. Once I get better and get more results however, I'll probably be back looking for more people to work with that can provide SERIOUS volume.
Right now, email marketers and SEO'ers who have traffic that's going to waste. You're my target.
What now?
Sounds like we're a good match? You can reply here and ask questions, or you can pm me to discuss in private. If we're going to work together we'll exchange Skypes and have a chat. I won't be working with a large number of people. No more than 2 or 3 to start. I'll also be fairly picky about the projects I work on. I'd like to work with a couple of pleasant people who have a good volume of traffic and are willing to try different things.
P.S. Feel free to critique my writing style from this post. My natural style is a very academic style of writing. Long sentences, a lot of adjectives and juicy words. This is fine for certain companies. For copywriting, no. 8th Grade level or lower is great. I'm doing my best to switch to short and simple sentences.
P.P.S. I'm fairly busy with my own work. Don't expect me to be sitting here running your business for you. I may give you 3 days solid work if your project excites me or I may give you 2 hours. I might give you nothing. Please don't rely on anything I'm doing for you as being critical. Use me as an added bonus. A juicy optional extra to inject cash into your project.
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Tom
