Anybody know of a free/decent captcha breaking software. Really struggling to find something affordable.

How do you want to incorporate it? e.g. Your own custom software? Do you have any coding skills or are you after an off the shelf solution?

a free one would be something that uses OCR... but all of the good sites have captchas that fight against ocr pretty well these days.

you should consider having a little bit of budget for deathbycaptcha or similar services.

I was using deathbycaptcha before. switched to ShaniBPO. it's cheaper than deathbycaptcha. handling all my software without any problem.
