Bounce exchange is ridiculously expensive, thousands of dollars a month, even it's competitors offering significantly lower rates can be pretty pricey, lowest I found was 49$ a month.

I was looking for a ridiculously cheap solution recently, and found something better, a free one.

github.com/carlsednaoui/ouibounce

Works great, tried it out myself.

Enjoy.

Nice to know, will definitely add to my wp essentials. These scripts are extremely powerful. When I first encountered one, by bounce exchange, I was a bit intrigued about how it could of possibly done what it had. Not to mention a little startled haha. After seeing the price point I was extremely disappointed, and assumed there was no way a free one could exist. So I set out looking for a cheaper alternative and when I saw just how overcharged bounce exchange was, I knew a free (or at least nulled) version of one had to exist somewhere.

Bumping again, this is a true game changer, for free.

Bumping, people need this.

What have you guys noticed to be the primary benefits of these plugins? They seem to be intended to minimize bounce rate. Is that a practical expectation to have using these tools?

Low bounce rate may affect positively your SEO

It absolutely does. It makes complete sense too.. Think about it...

ie: user searchers for something on Google, goes to 1st website and leaves immediately then stops going to websites after staying on one for a while. To google this says "they found what they were looking for here" if 100s or 1000s of people follow that same trend eventually google will penalize the first, and reward the second.

In fact you can even do things to keep visitors there for extended periods of time which should, in theory, help your ranking.
