I came across a fascinating concept from the Income School guys. Apparently, having your name mentioned on other people's websites, not just in the comment section, can greatly boost your E-A-T. However, I can't help but wonder if this is still applicable in today's dynamic digital landscape. Can anyone validate this claim?

I saw your question about getting free backlinks from blog comments and thought I'd weigh in with my experience. I've been navigating the SEO landscape for a while now, and I strongly believe that when it comes to blog commenting for backlinks, the manual and authentic approach is the way to go.

Using automated software might seem like a time-saver but it's a waste of time in the long run. They are spammy and irrelevant, and they don't add value to the blog you're trying to grow because those backlinks are usually attached to a backlink.
Your approach ultimately should be based on the results you are trying to achieve:
Manually creating comments for your blog allows for genuine engagement. I used to write comments for up-and-coming forums back in the day. The goal was to create manual comments that would not only attract new users but also build engagement. It took work but it worked.
If you focus on building quality comments over quantity, then your comments will pass the smell test every time. Stop throwing sh*t at the wall hoping that it sticks, cause usually it just slides down.
Your commenting campaign doesn't have to be 100% manual. You can hire real people to do micro tasks. Set up a campaign and pay people a couple of cents to create relevant comments on a free blog. And or find high authority, relevant sites to leave those comments on.
All I am saying is if you want to see results from your efforts, don't be afraid of a little manual effort.

- What are your time restraints for growing your traffic?
