when i check that script by micallef, alot of those sites seem to be chinese and i can find no clickable link on them to my site. What gives?

Yes, they don't all work all of the time, but you will have enough successes out of 3000 for it to be worthwhile.

This list floating about to be added to scrapebox for an auto submission, 2 whois sites, google around if you got scrape box, there is a zipped download to import in to it.

This script just ping domain-appraisal sites. There are a couple of free php-scripts here on BHW, which do the same. You can specify the sites, which should be pinged, and these sites generate a report of your domain. So, there are no restrictions concerning the content of that site. And please note, that many of those newer domain-appraisal sites do not give follow-links because they got greedy and did not understand, that its the webmasters, making those reports for a follow-link.

These are no quality links, I would be careful with making thousands of them at the same time on a new domain. And in Bookmark Wizard, there is a tool, which does the same.
