I know the namecheap and godaddy bulkchecker, but i want something stand-alone so i can export data in excel.

My own hosting got an API but it will only give me 500 checks a day.

    Does anybody know something better?

I'm very interested too. I need a script that check it auto and send me email when certain domain is available.

I could probably whip something up in a day or two. It would be either browser based or an actual windows based app.

If I see enough interest I'll set up a thread with a poll, then development would probably start tonight.

Just create a PHP script and use any whois service available that suits your needs.

If the whois returns false, it is available. Done. :)
