Hello guys,

Is there any free alternative to HotJar that you would recommend?

I can't afford it at the moment, seems pricey as hell.

you can use mouseflow also. After hotjar this is the best heatmap tool.
 
Guys, I'm loving Yandex so far and I'm grateful for the recommendation but have you checked whether your page speed load time doesn't suffer after putting the Yandex tag in <head></head>?

I've noticed that my pages load slower and Google's PageInsights show the Yandex code as one of the main reasons for the slower load time.
 
Doesn't HotJar have a free plan?

I'm a big fan of HotJar. The founder always gives me the time of day to chat and overall super genuine guy. Can't say enough good things. If you can afford it, do it.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. So I checked and yes the Basic is free forever
 
I was hating my load times with Yandex so I use HotJar mostly, the free tier is good enough until you have real traffic.
