Hi there,
Let's contribute for the first time ! I've found an amazing backlink and very powerful by creating a team.
You'll help research by getting your computer work for you. It's BOINC technology which allow you to help research by giving some calculations with your computer.
Completing a task will allow you to create your own "mining" team, with wonderfull d0follow backlinks on it, and a real page authority. You can add description, URL and whatever you want.
#Step 1 - Sign-up as Volunteer

Use a real e-mail, it's an active forum and they ask you to confirm your e-mail.
Go to your mailbox, active your account.
#Step 2 - Download BOINC software

Install it on your computer, and when it's done click on "Create a Project".
Go and find BOINC@TACC; here is a screenshot, and click on "Next".
#Step 3 - Log-in to your tacc/utexas/edu account with your e-mail and password
Press next, it will connect your .edu account to this software so they can give you credit. And start making processing a task !
When it's over, go to your account on the website to see you credits in "Calculations in progress" zone.
#Step 4 - Create your team
When you have credits (completing one task is enough), see the teams here :

Scroll down, you don't want to find a team, you want to create yours !
It's all downthere :
"Create a new team" -> blue link "Create a team".
You have to complete a task to get a team, that's why it's a so valuable edu backlink, it can be easily spammed !

You'll be able to create a team and chose a type of team (gov, business, student, other.. whatever you want), the country you want, it will help to get a more relevant backlink.
#Step 5 - Create relevant backlinks
There is three spot where you can put a backlinks using <a href="link">anchor</a>
On The name of the team : can be hyperlinked (see the screen)
Website link : The website link can't have anchor, it's naked URL
Description : Put your thematic article to get contextual backlink, don't be spammy !!! You can add some HTML like images, links and stuff.
#Step 6 - Enjoy, and make more !
You remember the first screenshot ? There is plenty of website which use BOINC software for the same purpose. Find their website (it's linked), create an account, an repeat.
They all use the same process. You can get about 15 amazing backlinks this way, you need to complete a task and create a team.
As you have to complete this task using the BOINC software, it won't be easy to spam. So these can be very good contextual backlinks, long term, high authority with edu & gov DA and they are fucking D0follow.
