✏️ FRC Change Log

This thread is the official change log for all Free Review Copies (FRC) process updates. It’s designed to keep both sellers and reviewers informed of any changes to the FRC rules, procedures, or expectations in the FRC subforum.

Whenever there’s an update (whether it affects sellers, reviewers, or both), we’ll post it here. This ensures transparency and helps everyone stay compliant with the latest guidelines.


To avoid confusion, missed updates, or potential warnings, we strongly recommend that all FRC participants hit the “Watch” button at the top of this thread. That way, you’ll receive a notification immediately when something changes.


Staying informed is the easiest way to stay in good standing

1. New FRC Form - No more Manual BBCode

We’ve rolled out a new, streamlined FRC submission form to make it much easier for sellers to create a Free Review Copy thread.

Gone are the days of manually copying and pasting BBCode into a new thread. We know that process was frustrating for many of you—and we heard your feedback loud and clear. So we’ve simplified it.

What’s new?
From now on, when we request that sellers provide 1 x FRC of their top-level package for a review, they’ll just need to:

• Follow the instructions outlined in their approved sales thread (or ticket)
• Fill out the FRC form - no manual formatting required.

Easy, fast, and headache-free.

2. Update in the "Rules for Sellers" section

With the introduction of the new FRC submission form, we’ve also updated the “Rules for Sellers” to reflect these changes.

Here’s what’s new:

• Added a link to the new FRC form
• Updated section: “1. Create an FRC thread by submitting the FRC Form” - This section now clearly outlines what sellers are expected to include when filling out the form.
