I got this DMCA takedown notice and there isn't anything in my Telegram channel that I know could violate anything as this channel is 4 years old and lists different shitcoins, nothing less... Channel similar to CryptoMoonShots in Reddit.

They don't even say which part of my channel violates the copyrights... it's a fraudulent takedown notice and I'm afraid they will knock something (or the whole channel) off real soon.

I am also not going to send that company an email, they might want to rule out who is behind that channel, it wouldn't be a wise thing to do.

Has anyone ever dealt with such a situation before?

Why would they want to rule out who's behind the channel? What would be the issue?

It was better when it wasn’t censored. Dumb corporations ruin everything by sending fake complaints.
But what is the point of submitting complaints and CR claims. Seeking to get money somehow? Is this channel monetized?

How can I know why?

I am not running to contact them as this is what they clearly want.

It doesn't really matter. Not everyone is always trying to achieve something. Some people do it out of jealousy or simply for the fun of it. Or they might be thinking they can milk OP out by scaring him. Too many scams nowadays.

I see experienced something similar with Facebook lost accounts and pages attached to accounts.

Is there no way to chat with TG support and explain as well as get clarified?

Not sure. I read from Reddit that Telegram never responds if someone reaches out.

Well if they do it out of jealousy then still are looking to achieve something. Whatever the intent is, there's a aim for achieving something. Unless they do it out of pure hobby. Some choose skiing, other filing complaints for the fun of it.

And usually a company has better things to do than to file unsubstantiated CR complaints on random telegram channels.

As for individuals doing that, then yes I assume ''milking'' the OP might be the explanation. It means they expect the OP to be extracting value of his channel.
