Fraudfilter // Fraudfilter steals traffic?

I'm hearing from multiple people about allegations of traffic theft from Fraudfilter.

I haven't confirmed it myself but people are saying the total clicks reported reported by the traffic source wouldn't match the total hits shown on Fraudfilter. So I guess a % of the money page visitors would be sent to Fraudfilter's own offer?

Again, I'm just wondering if anyone has independent experiences - especially any proofs.

So far I haven't seen any proofs and I'm sure it's pretty hard to generate proofs if they are only stealing say 5% of money page visitors once your traffic starts (say after 200 real visits).

Yeah. I'm seeing about 4% of clicks disappear. I'm using PHP (no redirect) cloaking.

I have used different cloakers but i see the percentage of traffic lost in redirection

Traffic lost in redirection for ALL cloakers or only Fraudfilter?

To be clear, I'm not using the redirect method of cloaking. I'm using PHP (no redirect) based cloaking.

You can set up your own test rig. Include a special string on your own offer, hidden in the html as a comment. Send yourself traffic with a custom bot. Set fake referrers like adwords and facebook, set fake headers and use some proxies in different locations. When the bot gets a reply without the string, write all the data to a file, the html response so you see the offer, the IP from where it requested, the referrer that triggered it and so on.

That's the only way to be sure.

Also, it's possible your traffic source may be doing something funny or maybe it's a bug. Not necessarily foul play. So check with the traffic source support as well.
