So I was taking a look at the keywords that I'm working with for this new site, I noticed there are some keywords that in the Google Keyword tool are shown as 1-10K Avg. Monthly Searches, I decided to check if these are available (Domain names) and found that actually several are indeed.

So I'm not sure based on the fact that the competition is quite low, if I should buy them make some basic sites (more like landing pages) and point them to my money site...

Maybe some of you guys might give me some advice.

The EMD still works, so you should definitely go for it. That too with search volume of 1-10K is great. However a simple landing page may not rank that domain. You need to have minimum 5-7 pages of website with proper onpage setup. 5-7 pages setup will give you more opportunity to add up more long tail keywords and it will become more relevant. However why you want the visitor to come to your another website, instead you can send them to offer page. That would be better or you can use the landing page to collect email address and later on you can use them to get into your main website

Since It'll be small pages the wont use much resources, so I'm not sure if I should host it with my other site and domain registrar, or if I should instead host it somewhere else to avoid penalties?

Any more ideas anyone?

If you’re gonna do that, be sure to buy separate hosting packages so they are not on the same IP. You probably should wait a little before directing them at your money site.

yeah I was thinking that or maybe set the domains with something like free WordPress to save to hosting expense... My Other option is to link the domains with white-labels since I would promote those in my main site...
