I would recommend only doing a profile blast with xrumer since it's a new domain. The sites that I have tested seem to avoid any sandboxing with the profile blasts, but I have had some delays after using the forum post/comment blasts (on new domains).

Also, I would not recommend pinging those backlinks after the blast. Let the search engines find them naturally. It will take a lot longer, but looks more natural and has worked well on many of my new domains.

I'm not familiar with your game, but I assume you probably are building up an email list of players. I think that is where your money to pay for expenses is going to be. There are probably a lot of affiliate products related to your niche that you could recommend to your list occasionally.
