Found good expired domain

Hello guys, so i've been searching to create a website in pets niche and i found some good domain , with 3k backlinks and authority score semrush says its 9.

The website used to be something else, but the name fits in the niche i want to build a website. Would you think its gonna be beneficial if i buy this domain and start my website. Are the backlinks gonna count?

The domain has lost 1000 basklinks from May untill today...

So i dont know... what do you guys think? is it gonna do me any good or no?

Referring domains is very low.
If you lose a couple of those links, all of a sudden it’s not worth anything.

oh, ok ok, that means ill continue searching. But what if there is more reffering domains, like, lets say 500+ , but it's not in the same niche, can it still benefit my business? Thanks

Higher RD is definitely going to be better - more powerful and more durable.

Same niche will be better as well.

These days, 500+ RD domains are hard to find, let alone clear ones.

And use it for another niche money site is not a good idea, you will be result in very high bounce rate, and others, it looks like weird for users. For PBN usage this maybe okay.

And your OP domain is got a site-wide link?! If this 12 RD is very very good, and domain is very fit to your niche, its okay to try it, but if not, start a new domain instead, but make sure to know these days for a new domain, the "waiting time" is damn long enough, means several months you will see nothing...

Yeah, the links are site-wide., 12 RD , but i dont know what happened for sure to the domain, u can never know if they spammed, if they got blacklisted, banned adsense and etc.

12 RD domain is pretty much worthless (with rare exceptions, for example 5-6 good EDU links + some major news media link). Anyway am not even checking domains under 25-30 RDs. My advice is just to look to buy a domain from broker. Not worth wasting days of your time to save $15-$30 for an expired domain which can end being shit.
