Found a keyword with .com/.net/.org EMD available! need some advice

i just found a availabe EMD with 8800 monthly local USA searches. the CPC is 1.4$. I checked the difficulty rating with traffic travis and it told me it was Easy to rank. The EMD is a trademark though (a type of running shoe to be specific). I need some advice on how to monetize this. Currently I only have AdSense.

Setup an automated blog with relevant content or manually spin relevant content and make sure you update it frequently.

I would do CPA as well. Amazon and eBay are very good for this kind of KW.
To fill an autoblog, I usually create a google alert as rss feed and use wp-o-matic plugin with regex to get rid of the google links in the alert feed. actually I create a whole bunch of google alerts.

Yeah those all sound like great ideas. Is the risk big of getting caught by the trademark owners? For example if the shoe was a reebok shoe and my emd was reebokxxx.com and it was ranked first page and/or higher than the actual reebok shoe?

They probably would send you a cease and desist letter, best put some legal jargon on your website that you are in no way affiliated with Reebok etc.... and that you simply are a reseller of their fine products. They are less likely to bother you in that case.

Here are some things that I would do:

1. Make sure that the EMD does not in any way make it look like that you're affiliated with "reebok". So something like reebokrunningshoesblog.com can be a problem. On the other hand, something like reebokrunningshoesreview.com is better. I'm not saying that you're on the clear. I'm just saying that it's better.

2. Put a DMCA notice.

3. Put a disclaimer saying that you're not affiliated with Reebok.

But even with all those things, they can still end you a C&D. But if you're going to do it, at least cover your ass legally.
