Well, if you were on first page and had around 5% CTR, you would get around 150$/month.
Is that profitable enough?
Also based on the fact you would get 1000 out of 1500 visitors a month, had 5% CTR and each would give you 3$ per click.

Adwords competition for keyword?
Low/Medium/High
CPC $9 doesn't mean jack if competition is low

Could I ask which tool you have been using?
Outside of that I haven't managed to rank a .info domain, any way you could rearrange the phrase and purchase a .com?

try to rank more long tail keywords and it may double your traffic and profit, in my experience.

I agree, if there is low competition on adword, you will receive lower cpc ads
