Found a cool website when researching growth hacking - convert twitter followers?

I found a website called snip.ly basically it allows you to put a bar on someone elses content using a shortened link, you can advertise your stuff on that link.

I think this could be a great way to convert people who follow you one twitter or somewhere else if you post articles/blog posts about a certain subject. We just started using it today to try and convert the tons of small business owners that follow our twitter to go to our site.
You can post a blog from someone else, yet have a call to action for your site at the bottom.

I'm pretty sure its free, it was for the 1 test link I did.

EDIT: I guess this should go in Social Media? I tried to edit to delete it or move it but couldnt find a way to do that
