Found a abandoned Kitten!

They're not that expensive to keep. You don't need to buy all the things for it that you might think. People had cats long before canned cat food and litter boxes. We adopted the two cats from next door (well my pit bull brought one of them home) when the neighbor died. We do have a litter box but they rarely use it. Mostly they go outside. They eat dry cat food and not canned. The older one has killed nearly 100 rodents around our neighborhood now. ;)

Best of luck to you.
I guess your right :), thank you very much!

I have two cats and I can tell you, they are not that expensive. Afford yourself one big bag of cat food, you will probably be able to find a big one that will last long enough.

Also, cat can eat almost everything you do. Even more. For example, when my family eatch chicken, cat eats bones lol. She literally eats bones, cracking them with her teeth. She also needs water and company, and that's about it. Train her to do the messy thing outside and you should not have big problems.
One thing you have to take care about though is baby cats :) I don't know about the prices where you live, but here it costs around $50 to castrate cat. You will also probably need vaccine, that's around $15 here.

So yeah, in the beginning, you will have some expenses, but I believe you can manage somehow, cat is really cute, she could get donations very easily :)

Good luck!

Dont worrie about expanses , it should be much anyway, at least you will have motivation to make money online :)

My cat brings like up to 5 mouses to home , sometimes birds, rat and so on, 1 time she catched rabit for her kittens :D

True :), lol shes a kitten, pretty young actually so i dont think its a good idea to let her out free without me watching over her.

I would really suggest you get her checked out by a vet and get her shots. Also take a blood test to find out if she has feline leukemia or FIV (feline AIDS). She will need to be deflead, dewormed, and a wash for ear mites. Fleas can cause worms which can make her really sick. She doesn't look to be even 8 weeks old yet, so you can't use regular flea products on her. Either her mother was killed or the kitten was abandoned by its mother. Good thing you took her in because she probably would have wound up being killed by a car. I wouldn't suggest letting her outside just keep her as an indoor cat, much safer that way if you live in a city area. If you have a facebook page you can raise money for the vet cost using chipin. Just do a google search for "chipin" and you will find the website.

Just post the link from that website onto your facebook page and then cashout with paypal.

There are many animal lovers on Facebook who would be willing to help and donate money to cover her vet bills.

If you feel that you cannot keep her then do not bring her to a shelter, it is kitten season and many shelters are overrun with cats and kittens right now. Google cat rescue groups in your area. They may be able to help.

cat litter box $10 at dollar store, i use trash bags to line them. cat litter $5 at dollar store, cat food $6 at dollar store. couple little dollar toys. so you need like $25 and those supplies should last a month.

Hey, a Chicagoan! I'm from Rockford.

Definitely try Craigslist first. You will probably find someone pretty fast that will want her.

If that doesn't work, look online for a no kill shelter nearby and just take her there.
