Forwarding Site to a new domain. Questions

When I first started out, I wasnt really sure this was going to work out for me and took the cheapest route I could, on everything. That being said, I bought quite a bit of .info's (retarded, I know) I now have a couple of those that have taken off quite well and have good futures. One in particular, I need to switch off of the "no trust" .info. If I do this, are there any search engine implacations? If so, how long will they last? Will i need to own the .INFO and forever forward it?

next question related to that, the main reason for wanting the .com isnt really for SE rankings as its done jsut fine as is, but more for visitor confidence and hopefully direct visits after. With that confidence and direct visits in mind, would you go with a keywordworld.c0m (the .info is keyword exact) or would you go with keyword.c0 as that is available.

Stick with the d0tc0m for public confidence. Then you need to keep the original and do a 301 permanent redirect. Do a search for how to do it as there are a few different ways and one may suit you better than the other.

should I expect a drop in rankings?

You may do briefly, unfortunately G isn't that predictable. Howwver G does recognise 301 redirects as permanent and you would be doing everything they recommend in webmaster tools.
