I've just bought a forum based on IPB 2.3.6
Currently it doesnt have any URL seo friendly plugin so what should I do ?
1) Wait till new IPB 3.0 is out of beta and released as stable version coz it has an internal seo friendly url rewritter
2) Install Minerva SEO plugin
a) Install Minerva and block using robots.txt the php files forcing google to spider the new rewritten url ? (This way I'll loose the old indexed pages)
b) Install Minerva SEO but not block the old way using php files (index.php?showforum=49) but risking to get lower ranking being penalized for duplicate content (both index.php?showforum=49 and forum.com/affiliate-programs-f1-clickbank-t45.html going to same page)
Hard decision .....
