Forum Site Backlink?

Hi guys, I have a question.. I know a little about SEO and still confused about it Currently using GoogleScraper looking for forum then leaving my signature there.. Is just by having my signature in my profile without posting any comment counts as backlink? Is there any limit as how many per day should be okay because I check my rank and it drop to 2nd page of SERP It's suppose to be at 1st page of SERP, maybe I just overdo it? Thanks will be given to whoever that can explain this

while forum posting i dont use signatures, i try to place my links within the post. Forums archive their posts after a certain time period and the problem with signatures is that they dont show up in the archives.

so if you have a link in the signature, expect it to be temporary.

As per your other question, for new sites i do 10 backlinks per day. and for a site that is a more than a month old, I do 50 backlinks per day

Hey buddy, you have the right idea. This is a way many people backlink to their site except most use automated bots such as xrumer that do the job for you and at incredibly fast speeds.

The google dance is happening to your site and will keep on happening untill you slow down your link building to a few links per day, also any link better than no link but if you do post a comment be careful because your link might get spotted, signatures links are fine it just depends on how popular the site is, stay under the radar and your be fine.
