Forum says I have adblock enabled. But i dont

Just refreshed my page and now I get this.
Unable to do anything. I have adblock disabled and BHW whitelisted.
Cant you do something about it?
I need adblock plugin for lots of sites. Im not gonna remove it.
Had to use another browser to login and post.

Are you using Brave? Disable Brave shields if that's the case.

BHW adblock detection code is just very buggy.
Main reason to use ABP is to avoid YT ads. I hate them

OK that's weird I'm testing on Chrome and it's working fine. The screenshot you've displayed is missing a few elements. Could you try it again pls checking you're using the adBlock "Always" not "Once" pause on this site option.

using addblock pro firefox and bhw is not allowing me to disable
adds anymore - its forcing me to turn add block off
now all i see is a ton of of adds, under posts
top and bottom of posts and at the side

ublock origin does more than just adblocking, and their team and community is very proactive, they try to even eliminate those annoying notices and anti adblock thingies and all that, the best adblocker 100%

As mentioned above and in the message, AdBlock is blocking some core functionality of the forum, so we're currently suggesting that you don't use it whilst we work with them. Whilst we get to the bottom of it this feels like the best solution for the short term. We don't want you to stop using AdBlockers in general - that's, of course, your choice - but AdBlock specifically is doing something funky.

make sure to disable "Ignore generic cosmetic filters" in their settings so you could normally watch the bhw content and images while ads are still blocked

If you guys use uBlock Origin and don´t see download links, make sure you deactivate Easylist in settings, they fckd up the latest release so links don´t show on the forum.

Installed UBlock, added BHW to whitelist.
I get blocked with same message.

Turned on UBlock on BHW. No more blocks or that annoying message.

Sorry site owners. If you cant fix your adblock detection then I cant disable adblock.
Until the fix is done I use adblock on BHW.
I wanted to support you but I cant use forum if I add you to whitelist. Which is big LOL actually.
It should be other way around

Not asking you to have 2 browsers @olivier - just the 1 allowing BHW through whilst we sort this issue with AdBlock.

Our AdBlock detection appears to be working - can you explain whats causing you not to be able to disable AdBlock?
Also why you can't use this forum if you pause AdBlock on this forum? Trying to understand the issue here.

Expanding on what @RoiBox said
I mentioned it to him & @BlurryBit a few days ago (or was it a week ago, honestly cant remember), not important.
I understand a lot of you want to continue using EZList to block out those annoying ads and stuff for other sites but still want to browse through BHW without issues

This is the official EasyList's list of things they block

Copy paste all of that
into My Filters



Now, go ahead and find the following

blackhatworld.com##.link--external

blackhatworld.com##.bhw-advertise-link

Remove these two from that list you just pasted, there shouldn't be anymore BHW filters but if you do see them, feel free to remove them too.
Now you can continue using your adblock for every site while BHW isn't being filtered out.
Not sure why they randomly added BHW in after so many years but your guess is as good as mine

Even I had the issue for the last few weeks, while I was not using any adblock anywhere. I realised that something is amiss when AdBlock appeared in other browsers as well. To test I disabled Kaspersky and Voila, all ads re-appeared. So check your anti-virus and defenders as well
