I have harvested some high PR forums and made profiles and put a link in the profile...

I was wondering how we know if those are links that are able to be seen without beign a member? If they are not able to seen by non-members, does this still benefit the sites that are beign linked to? If so, how do I determine if the site has public profiles? Just by checking?

easy, just copy the URL. Then sign out from the fourm. Go back to the same page if you can see it or not.

Scrapebox...

Yeah I am using scrapebox to gather the sites.

Yeah, was hoping for a quicker way besides manually checking all fo them. I guess I will just check them all.

Yes all links are of value (including nofollow) I know that some forums actually allow Google to crawl hidden pages (Hidden to regular members) just blast away.
