Forum profiles dead?

I recently in last month created around 500 forum profiles to my site but it didnt make any impact on my site.

So is it dead?

or

whats the current trend that works?


i am planning to experiment with

website <------100 web 2.0 ------senuke each web 2.0 what do you think it will work?

I had some great results with paul and angela backlinks so I wouldn't say profile links are worthless.

i think best profile link is edu gov profile links !!

I blast them with scrapebox. But I don't count just on profile links. You need diversity in order to rank.

No, they're not 'dead', actually every type of link method on this forum still works after G's update, it really depends on your competition though.

If there is virtually no competition for your keyword, several hundred forum profiles will be enough to rank; but who wants no competition keywords?!? So focus on creating web 2.0s and then get articles and other web 2.0s pointing to those links, THEN blast the hell out of them with forum profiles and scrapebox blog comments.

dead or not for sure they give less link juice as before and might even hurt you its better to do them for your web 2.0 sites and make sure they get indexed

500 profile links is hardly anything, come back here when you blasted 50k instead.

500 profile links is just a drop of water. it's not gonna do anything.

Profile links are about as dead as it gets for tier 1 links. Not worthless yet for Tier 2/3 though.
