There are some PR4 authority sites. If you create some profiles with your site links in its forums, do you think there is any SEO benefits for that types of links?

Thanks,
Hipromet

i think yes. it depends on the structure of the forum. unfortunetly i don't know which are the best

Forum profile page has no any PR. Only top root domain has PR. So just not sure whether such profile links can have SEO benefits.

It depends if it's "do-follow" or not.
As long as there's a one-way link back to your website, it will help.

Don't forget the anchor name.

profile backlinks can be good but they have to be do follow and have to be indexed. They can be a fair bit of trouble. But they do have their benefits

Forum profiles absolutely work. It's all about quantity, consistency, and anchor text.

Thanks for all encouraging responses.

May I ask how to know whether links are "do-follow" or not?

I have been doing a bit of this recently. What are your techniques for finding the right forums to do this on? I have been relying on other people's link packets and just signing up through that.

Also, do you have a link wheel tactic with this or anything? I have just been solely linking back to my main page and a few inner pages.

I honestly think every type of link is important

high pr / low page rank / follow / no follow

then every sort of link you can make - via video - social etc

this is more natural than 10,000 links from just one source.

I think these type of links are good for SEO but not enough for bringing traffic to the site.
And I think these are good too if u want to keep your links for a long time.

Yep I agree, they're probably the best for long term links, not thought of it like that before!

Lots of misinformation in this thread already.

Yes, anchor text forum profile links work for seo, and work faster and better if you know how to scrape forums and sort them by page rank(keep only the ones with pr), and then take the correct measures to get them indexed via rss/blogging etc.

I suggest forum profile links as a low tier, since you can get lots of it with the right tool.

NO!!!
I just made a test and the 200 high quality links made more than 20k shitty xrummer links.

Not sure if you are talking about other quality links or quality profile links?

Anyways myself i only take domain PR 2 and above. But ofc using other backlink sources too :)

Getting links indexed aint really that hard.

I think you are right.
If Forum profile links can be indexed by search engines via RSS that will work better.

i tried to know the forum profile backlinks status do follow or no follow through scrapebox, it always showing unknown platform.

I think it is very easy to select follow or no follow links.
You do not not need to use any software.
If the link follow the URL then the link is do follow otherwise no follow.
