I'm not sure whether this has already been discussed here. If yes, please give me the link.
So here it is.
As we all know, web 2.0 link wheels as very handy for link building, the back hat way.
But if I use forums rather than web 2.0 properties, its it good? Of course they can't be as good, but still, will it be any good?
So say, I register at high PR ******** forums and use my profile page(signature and homepage box) and use them to build link wheel, putting the previous profiles link on the current one and so on, any good?

Need some expert advice here.

Regards.

I do this actually. It doesn't give any noticeable benefits in terms of serp climbing. But I'm hoping in the future it will so I do it anyway since it can't hurt if I link forum profiles together.

Hard to tell... but I'm going to try to play with the idea for a while now that you mentioned about it and see how it goes

Yes I have been thinking about this for sometime now, thought why not ask here lol
My common sense says, it should be better than general profile link building.

if you are doing it automated then you are going to create a closed link wheel if you are using the same forums.

No I will be doing it manually. And I will be using different forums, there are thousands of high PR reputed forum so don't really need to stick to a few of them.
