forum posting - link signature

I was wondering if you sign upto a forum and submit around 100 posts, without a link signature, then choose to add a link signature to your posts via the profile configuration, will all the previous 100 post then contain that link ?

I think it depends on the forum, so you'll have to test it out. You don't have to wait till you have 100 posts. Try with 10, and then change the signature and see if the older post signs have changed.

Every forum I've ever posted on works just this way.
Whenever you change your sig every previous post will change to the new sig.

AFAIK, when you update your signature they are updated in all your posts. Make sure you have your signature enabled when you post.

YES, when you update your signature it get updated to all your previous post. But posting without signature won't get updated. I'm not sure about other forums but here in BHW it happens, so assume its with Vbulletin. Ie., if you post 10 posts without signature and 5 posts with signature and you change the signature only the last 5 posts with signature get updated not the previous 10 without signature.

When you add a link in signature box of forum then that link is visible to all of your previous posts.... 99.9% forums do this.
